When we hired someone to replace our roof, I had a vision for how the work would go. I though a couple of guys would climb up there, carefully remove the existing tiles and immediately dispose of them in a dumpster. I thought that it would be a clean and orderly affair to see (anyone that has had their roof replaced is chuckling right now). In reality, it looks like this:
These are of course the main areas that they threw down the tiles. But the mess wasn’t contained to these areas. A careful stroll around the house revealed that some had lost their way:
In other news, the kitchen remodel has continued. I need to post more on this. I do. But for the time being I feel overwhelmed by it, and when I’m overwhelmed I become non-communicative. At least, in a blogging sense. If you were sitting in front of me right now with a bottle of wine I would totally be able to tell you everything that’s going on. But I will post an update. Very soon. Promise. In the meantime I will be sitting and looking at the mess, microwaving my dinner and sipping my wine. Don’t be jealous.
